Case's Story
Case Kelley is a contemporary artist based in Edmonds, Washington, whose work explores color, texture, movement, and memory through abstraction. Born and raised in San Diego, California, Case developed an early appreciation for the natural beauty of the coast and the emotional impact of visual storytelling.
Since relocating to the Pacific Northwest, his artistic perspective has evolved, drawing inspiration from the region's changing seasons, moody skies, waterfront landscapes, and vibrant communities. Edmonds, in particular, has become a significant source of creative influence, inspiring works that reflect both the energy and quiet beauty of life in the Pacific Northwest.
Working primarily with acrylics, mixed media, and collage techniques, Case creates pieces that balance spontaneity and intention, inviting viewers to discover their own meaning within each composition. His work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions throughout the greater Seattle area and is collected by those drawn to art that is both visually engaging and emotionally resonant.
When he is not in the studio, Case enjoys spending time with his wife, their two sons, and Harper, the family's spirited Havanese pup. Through his art, he seeks to capture the experiences, places, and emotions that have shaped his journey from Southern California to the Pacific Northwest.
